Andreas "Andy" Köpke (born 12 March 1962) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He was selected for the Germany national team squads that won the 1990 FIFA World Cup and reached the quarter-finals of the 1994 FIFA World Cup. He then succeeded Bodo Illgner as Germany's first-choice goalkeeper at UEFA Euro 1996, which Germany won, and at the 1998 FIFA World Cup. He is known by the nickname "Andy", and the tournaments named here are the international record the English Wikipedia lead gives for his career.
