Todd Brunson

Casino and Scoring Card Games

Todd Brunson (born 7 August 1969) is an American professional poker player and the son of poker player Doyle Brunson, who did not teach him the game. He learned poker on his own while studying law at Texas Tech University and left before his senior year to turn professional. He has mostly played cash games, often at the Bellagio, and is nicknamed Darkhorse. He won a bracelet in Omaha High-Low at the 2005 World Series of Poker, making the Brunsons the first father and son to each win a bracelet there, and has two WSOP runner-up finishes, in 2012 and 2014. His live tournament winnings exceed 4.5 million dollars.
