Douglas Kevin Polk (born December 16, 1988) is an American professional poker player who played under the alias WCGRider and specialized in heads-up No Limit hold'em. Born in Pasadena, California, he competed as a teenager in World Cyber Games Warcraft 3 tournaments, then dropped out of the University of North Carolina Wilmington to play poker full-time and by 2013 was considered one of the best online heads-up cash game players. He beat Ben Sulsky in a publicized 15,000 hand match and, in 2015, was one of four professionals who defeated the poker bot Claudico. In June 2017 he won the WSOP One Drop High Roller, and in 2015 he co-founded the training site Upswing Poker with Ryan Fee. He returned from retirement for a 25,000 hand heads-up match against Daniel Negreanu that ended in February 2021 with Polk winning about 1,200,000 dollars, and in 2022 he became co-owner of The Lodge Card Club.
