Abby Wambach is an American former professional soccer player who starred as a forward for the United States women's national team. She became the all-time leading goal scorer in international soccer history, male or female, and helped the United States win a Women's World Cup and multiple Olympic gold medals over a career spanning the 2000s and 2010s.
