Aaron Michael Gray, born on 7 December 1984 in the Tarzana section of Los Angeles, is an American former professional basketball player who spent seven seasons in the National Basketball Association. He measured at least seven feet without shoes at the 2007 pre-draft camp and was chosen 49th overall by the Chicago Bulls in the 2007 draft after playing college basketball at Pittsburgh. He went on to play for the New Orleans Hornets, the Toronto Raptors, the Sacramento Kings and the Detroit Pistons. A blood clot found in his heart forced him to retire in June 2015, and he then joined the Pistons staff as an assistant coach.
