WrestleMania is the flagship professional wrestling event of the American promotion WWE, held once a year between mid-March and mid-April. It first took place in 1985 and was WWE's first pay-per-view production, and it is described as the most successful annual professional wrestling event in history. It was conceived by Vince McMahon and named by ring announcer Howard Finkel. The show has been livestreamed since WrestleMania XXX in 2014, has featured celebrity appearances from figures such as Muhammad Ali, Mr. T and Mike Tyson, and has been held in two nights since 2020. Every edition so far has been staged in a North American city. Its place among WWE's Big Five annual events makes it the centre of the wrestling calendar.
