INEOS Britannia is the British sailing team competing in the America's Cup under the historic Royal Yacht Squadron challenge, backed by the chemicals company INEOS and skippered by Olympic sailing champion Ben Ainslie. The team represents the United Kingdom's long-running effort to win the America's Cup, the oldest trophy in international sport, a feat no British team has achieved since the trophy's original 1851 race around the Isle of Wight.
