The Norwegian Ski Federation (Norges Skiforbund) is the governing body for competitive skiing disciplines in Norway, founded in 1908 and headquartered in Oslo, overseeing cross-country skiing, ski jumping, Nordic combined, alpine skiing, freestyle skiing and snowboarding in a country regarded as one of the historic heartlands of Nordic winter sport. It selects Norway's teams for the Winter Olympics and FIS World Championships, from a program that has helped make Norway the most successful nation in Winter Olympic history.
