Zwanzigerrufen, also written XX-rufen, is a card game of the Tarock family from Austria, made for four players. It is played with just forty cards of the Tarock pack, and it is described as somewhat simpler than Königrufen. The name means Call the XX. The player who opens the bidding calls for the tarock numbered XX, and whoever holds that card becomes the caller's partner, which is how the partner is determined. The game is a trick-taking game, filed with the Tarot games in the classified index of the Pagat card game site. Players who want to try it can play against live opponents online at the Gametwist site, which runs in German, and a computer version is available from Triangle productions. Written rules are kept in an archive copy of Bernhard Krüpl's Tarock Page.
