Wise and Otherwise is a board game published by WiseandOtherwise.com Inc, first released around 1997. It includes a game board, six pawns and a deck of cards printed with the beginnings and endings of obscure proverbs from around the world, shown on opposite sides of the cards. Players write invented endings to a proverb's opening line and try to guess the real ending among the submitted decoys, a bluffing and guessing format for two to six players that rewards wit and familiarity with unusual sayings rather than tactical calculation.
