White Death, subtitled Velikiye Luki, the Stalingrad of the North, is a board wargame published by Game Designers' Workshop in 1979, designed by Frank Chadwick. The two-player game is a strategic simulation of the Battle of Velikiye Luki, a bitter Eastern Front encirclement battle fought in the winter of 1942 to 1943 during the Second World War, drawing the comparison to Stalingrad named in its subtitle.
