Warrior Knights

Warrior Knights is a board wargame for two to six players originally published by Games Workshop in 1985 and later reissued by Fantasy Flight Games in 2006. Each player takes the role of a Baron in an unnamed medieval kingdom, competing to seize its throne through a combination of raising and supporting military forces, securing enough revenue to keep those troops paid, and accumulating political influence through negotiation and maneuvering against rival Barons. A 2007 expansion from Fantasy Flight Games titled Crown and Glory added technological development and further gameplay variants on top of the base rules. Reviewers have noted that actual play sessions commonly run well past the box's advertised playing time, often described as needing roughly an hour per player once the full player count is seated.
