Turning Point: Stalingrad

Modern Conquest and War Games

Turning Point: Stalingrad is a board wargame published by Avalon Hill in 1989, designed by Don Greenwood, that simulates the street-to-street fighting of the Battle of Stalingrad during the Second World War. One of the two players controls the attacking German forces and the other the defending Soviet forces, contesting the ruined city block by block in a close-quarters urban combat scenario. It represents Avalon Hill's continuing line of historical wargames revisiting major Eastern Front engagements at a detailed tactical scale.
