True20

Modern Hobby Strategy Games

True20 is a role playing game system designed by Steve Kenson and published by Green Ronin Publishing in 2005. It shares roots with d20 system mechanics but introduces its own distinct rules, using a simplified core resolution built around three defining traits of a character rather than the full d20 skill and feat list. It first appeared as the engine behind the Blue Rose roleplaying game before being released on its own as True20 Adventure Roleplaying, a standalone universal generic system meant to run campaigns in any genre rather than one fixed setting.
