Trench Crusade is a skirmish-scale miniature wargame set in a grimdark alternate history where the First World War's trenches have become a battleground between a corrupted Catholic Church and the demonic forces of Hell. Players field 32mm scale miniatures representing whichever warband best fits their own vision of the setting, since the rules do not mandate an official miniature line. The game was designed by Mike Franchina, Tuomas Pirinen and James Sherriff and published by Factory Fortress Inc., reaching its 1.0.0 release in 2025 after building an unusually large following through free rules and community artwork before its commercial launch. It is played by two or more players and is aimed at a mature audience given its horror and war themes. The rulebook has since been issued in English and French, with a 1.0.2 revision extending and clarifying the original release.
