Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation is an action adventure video game developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive, the fourth instalment in the Tomb Raider series. It was released for PlayStation and Microsoft Windows on November 24, 1999 in North America and December 3, 1999 in Europe, followed by a Dreamcast release in March 2000 and a Mac OS port in June 2000. The story opens with a 1984 flashback in Cambodia before following archaeologist adventurer Lara Croft through Egyptian locations including Karnak, Alexandria, Cairo and the Great Pyramid of Giza as she races to reimprison the god Set after accidentally freeing him. Play is from a third person perspective, moving Lara through multi room levels, fighting enemies and solving environmental puzzles with tank style controls and a range of weapons.
