Tide of Iron is a World War II wargame designed by Christian T. Petersen, Corey Konieczka and John Goodenough, published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2007. It is played by two to four players, with fifteen to thirty minutes of setup and one to four or more hours of play depending on the scenario, and is recommended for ages twelve and up with a medium level of chance driven by dice rolls. Players take the role of division commanders directing German and American forces in Western Europe during 1944 and 1945, executing pre-designed scenarios on hex-map boards using more than two hundred plastic infantry and vehicle figures, including detailed models of tanks such as the Sherman, Panzer IV and Tiger I, alongside extensive cardboard components and markers. Later expansions extend the game to North Africa, Normandy and the Eastern Front, adding British and Soviet forces to the conflict.
