The Last Crusade is an out-of-print collectible card game first released in December 1995 by Chameleon Eclectic Entertainment, a publisher whose catalog passed to Pinnacle Entertainment Group after Chameleon Eclectic closed in early 1999. The game simulates land, air and sea warfare between the German Third Reich and the Allied Forces during World War II, and is played by two or more participants who build decks representing military units, commanders and strategic resources from their chosen side. As a collectible card game, individual cards were sold in booster packs so that players assembled and customized their own decks before matches, following the format popularized earlier in the 1990s by games such as Magic: The Gathering. The game's World War II theme and multi-theater scope distinguished it within the wargaming hobby, which more commonly used board and counter formats for historical conflict simulation.
