The Judge Dredd Roleplaying Game

Role-Playing Games

The Judge Dredd Roleplaying Game is a science fiction role-playing game based on Judge Dredd from the 2000 AD comic and published by Mongoose Publishing in 2002 and 2009. In 2002 Mongoose, having acquired the rights to publish games set in the worlds created by 2000 AD, released the first edition, which was based on the d20 System and was supported by a total of fifteen supplements and by the publisher's in-house magazine Signs & Portents. In 2009 the company released a new edition that used its Traveller rules set, and it was announced that the licence would end in late 2016. Reviewing it in Black Gate, Robert Rowe said that anyone who likes Judge Dredd and does not absolutely hate the Traveller rules system would find an excellent game packed with key information and well laid-out statistics.
