Tejo (sport)

Tejo, also called turmeque, is a traditional throwing sport from Colombia. It is distinctive for its use of small targets that contain gunpowder, which explode on impact. The lead of the source article is brief, so this description states only what it supports: the game is a traditional Colombian throwing sport known by the two names Tejo and turmeque, and the gunpowder targets that explode on impact are what make it distinctive.
