Tamagotchi Town

Tamagotchi Town, also known as TamaTown, was an online browser game made by Bandai in Macromedia Flash that served as a companion to physical Tamagotchi virtual pet toys, launching in 2006 and running until its servers closed on February 6, 2013. It worked with several Tamagotchi device generations, including the Version 3, JinSei, JinSei Plus, Familitchi, Familitchi Celebrity and Music Star models plus the Tama-Go, syncing through a ten to fourteen digit hexadecimal code players typed in when logging in and out. Points and items earned inside the browser game could be carried back to a player's physical device. The original version offered locations such as a town hall, theatre, mall, school, grandparents' and parents' houses, an arcade, a travel agency and a food court, while later versions, including the Music Star era's popular Music City area, let players register characters and take part in further games.
