Take It Easy (game)

Alignment and Abstract Strategy Games

Take It Easy is an abstract strategy board game created by British designer Peter Burley and published by Ravensburger from 1983 onward, with several other publishers producing editions since. The game is sometimes described as a strategic form of bingo: each player receives an identical board of nineteen hexagonal cells arranged in a larger hexagon, and draws from a shared set of twenty-seven hexagonal tiles, each printed with three numbered lines running in different directions. One player draws and announces a tile at a time, and every player simultaneously places a matching tile anywhere on their own board, meaning all players build different boards from the identical sequence of tiles. Points are scored for completed unbroken lines of matching numbers running edge to edge across a player's board, with longer completed lines worth more.
