Suburbia (board game)
Board game
Suburbia is a city building tile laying board game designed by Ted Alspach and published in 2012 by Bezier Games. Players each construct their own town by acquiring and placing tiles representing residential, commercial and civic developments, balancing income, population growth and reputation against one another as their small settlements expand. The game's commercial success led to a broader line of related releases from the same publisher, including a digital app version in 2013, a related standalone game called Subdivision in 2014, and the Suburbia 5 Star expansion in 2015. A 2019 Kickstarter campaign for a Suburbia Collector's Edition raised 1.8 million dollars and was followed by a further Nightlife expansion, reflecting sustained interest in the title's city building design years after its original release.
