Street Fighter: The Storytelling Game

Role-Playing Games

Street Fighter: The Storytelling Game is a tabletop role-playing game released by White Wolf in 1994. It is based on the Street Fighter video game series and draws most of its characters from Super Street Fighter II. The rules reuse the basic mechanics of White Wolf's World of Darkness line, so players build a character from nine attributes grouped as Physical, Mental and Social, choose a Concept, a Demeanor, skills and backgrounds, and roll ten-sided dice, counting successes against the difficulty of the feat. In place of a class, each character picks a martial arts style taken from the fighters of the video game, and that style sets which techniques are cheaper to learn and how much Chi and Willpower the character starts with. A Combat Card system was new to the game. One core book and five supplements were published, and the game is now out of print.
