Space Hulk is a board game for two players produced by Games Workshop, originally released in 1989 and designed by Richard Halliwell and Dean Bass. Set in the Warhammer 40,000 science fiction universe, it pits a squad of heavily armored Space Marine Terminators, controlled by one player, against a horde of alien Genestealers, controlled by the other, as the Terminators fight through the cramped, dark corridors of a derelict starship known as a space hulk. The asymmetric game uses a turn structure built around action points and line-of-sight rules that recreate close-quarters tension, and it has been reprinted in several revised editions.
