Sho is a traditional Tibetan dice game for two or three players, described by Board Game Matcher as ancient and played in about fifteen minutes. A pad sits within reach of the players with 64 cowry shells laid in an arc around one side, and each player takes nine matching coins. Two dice are shaken in a wooden cup, which is snapped upside down on the pad; the next player lifts it to reveal the roll. On a first roll three coins are placed past the number of shells shown on the dice, and later rolls either bring one coin into the arc or move coins already there. The first player to carry all nine coins clockwise along the whole arc wins, and optional rules allow killing an opponent's coins or stacking one's own to make them stronger.
