Rolemaster

Rolemaster is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game first published by Iron Crown Enterprises in 1980, with designers including Coleman Charlton, John Curtis, Pete Fenlon and Steve Marvin. The system became known among tabletop gamers for its detailed percentile-based tables covering combat, skills and spellcasting, offering a more simulationist alternative to lighter rule sets of the same era. It has gone through several editions since its debut, with second, third and fourth editions released through the 1980s and 1990s and a fifth edition published in 2022, each revising and reorganizing the core rules while keeping the game's table-driven approach to resolving action.
