Ringworld is a science fiction role-playing game published by Chaosium in 1984. It uses the Basic Role-Playing system for its rules and takes Larry Niven's Ringworld novels as its setting. The setting is a distant future in the 29th century, built on as much hard science as Niven had available to extrapolate from, within a region of Known Space about 80 light years in diameter that holds 10,000 stars. The box is subtitled Roleplaying Adventure Beneath the Great Arch, and the infobox credits Greg Stafford, Sherman Kahn, Lynn Willis and Sandy Petersen among its designers.
