Red dog (card game)

Casino and Scoring Card Games

Red dog, also known as yablon and Scottish foghorn, is a game of chance played with cards in which two cards are dealt and a player bets on whether the rank of a third card will fall between them. It is found in some land casinos, although its popularity has declined, and it is featured at many online casinos. A standard 52-card deck is used, and one to eight decks may be played. More decks lower the house edge, which begins at 3.155 percent with one deck and falls to 2.751 percent with eight, the opposite of blackjack. A close variant is acey deucey.
