Ravnica Allegiance is the eightieth Magic: The Gathering expansion set, released on January 25, 2019 by Wizards of the Coast. It forms the second part of a two set storyline focused on the plane of Ravnica, continuing directly from the Guilds of Ravnica set that preceded it and introducing five additional Ravnica guilds not featured in that earlier release, completing the roster of ten guilds central to the plane's identity. The set advances an overarching narrative that Wizards of the Coast continued and closed out in the later War of the Spark set, letting players follow events unfolding on Ravnica across multiple releases rather than in a single expansion. Like other Ravnica focused sets, its cards emphasize two color guild identities and mechanics tied to each guild's philosophy and playstyle.
