Pizza Wars Imperium

Modern Conquest and War Games

Pizza Wars Imperium is a wargame ruleset developed by Heathen Thorn Enterprises and released in 1988, accommodating two to seven players in combat staged across the toppings of a pizza. The toppings themselves serve as the game's combatants, with players commanding topping-based forces in mock warfare across the surface of the pie, an intentionally lighthearted premise built on genuine wargame mechanics. This expanded 1988 edition built on an earlier release the same year from Horde Publications, with artwork contributed by Paul Baker and Richard Thomas, placing the game among the small-press humor wargames that applied conventional conflict-simulation rules to a deliberately absurd subject.
