Okey

Okey is a tile based game of the rummy family that is especially popular in Turkey. Played with a set of 106 tiles, comprising 104 numbered tiles in four colors plus two false joker tiles, the game challenges players to form specific groups and runs of tiles in order to score points against their opponents. It is usually played with four players, but can also be played with only two or three players, seated around a special okey table in its most traditional form. Its rummy style tile mechanics and long running popularity have made it one of the best known tile games associated with Turkish culture, alongside card based rummy games played across the wider region.
