Modern Naval Battles is a 1989 game from the publisher 3W. It is a card game in which players use cards to sink each other's ships. Brian Walker reviewed it in Games International in September and October 1989 and gave it three stars out of five, saying it is quite fun to play but lacks the certain something that made Enemy In Sight such a joy. The Chicago Tribune of 23 November 1990 called it a simple, playable card game designed for quick play but surprisingly subtle, and Casus Belli reviewed it in issue 62 in 1991.
