Missile Boat (wargame)

Missile Boat is a board wargame created by Rand Game Associates and released in 1974, subtitled Tactical Combat On, Over and Beneath the Sea, 1964-1984. It simulates naval engagements between historically modeled ships and weapons systems of that twenty-year span, covering surface combat as well as aircraft support and submarine warfare. Two players each command between one and three vessels, using rules covering period-appropriate naval electronics, guided missiles, torpedoes and other systems, giving the game a modern-navy focus distinct from the many wargames of its era set in earlier historical conflicts.
