Mechs vs. Minions
Board game
Mechs vs. Minions is a cooperative board game released in 2016 by Riot Games, set in the world of its video game League of Legends. Two to four players work together as a crew of yordle inventors piloting a stolen mech, managing a shared hand of programming cards to move, fight and solve puzzles across a campaign of ten linked missions. Designed by a team including Chris Cantrell, Rick Ernst, Stone Librande, Prashant Saraswat and Nathan Tiras, a single game session runs roughly one to two hours and leans on resource management and forward planning rather than direct combat rolls. It was Riot's first tabletop product and was sold directly rather than through traditional game retail.
