Malefiz
Strategy board game
Malefiz, also sold as Barricade, is a strategy board game invented by Werner Schoppner and published by Ravensburger since 1960. It is played by two to four players on a track-based board and is often described as a non-circular descendant of the ancient Indian race game Pachisi. Players move pieces along a path toward a goal while using barricade pieces to block opponents, and landing on an opposing piece can send it back toward the start, making blocking and positioning as important as the roll of the dice. A typical game lasts about thirty minutes and is suitable for players six and older. The game has remained continuously in print in Germany for decades and is considered one of Ravensburger's classic titles.
