Loopin' Louie
Children's board game
Loopin' Louie is an interactive electronic board game designed by Carol Wiseley and published by Milton Bradley in 1992, intended for two to four players though enthusiasts have devised unofficial modifications extending capacity to as many as eight or twelve. Each player controls a lever at their position around a circular board, using it to flip a plastic barrier as a motorized arm carrying a small plane named Louie continuously sweeps around the circle, aiming to knock over the barnyard-themed chickens standing on each player's side while the players try to block him. The last player with standing chickens wins the round. The game requires no reading and only simple hand-eye coordination, making it popular as a children's game, and it won the Kinderspiel des Jahres award for children's game of the year in 1994. Hasbro later produced a Star Wars themed variant called Loopin' Chewie in 2015, replacing Louie's plane with a Millennium Falcon miniature.
