Kursk (board game)

Modern Conquest and War Games

Kursk: History's Greatest Tank Battle, July 1943 is a two player board wargame designed by Eric Goldberg and published by Simulations Publications Inc in 1980, simulating the 1943 Battle of Kursk of the Second World War. It became a bestseller, reaching number one on SPI's Top Ten list by July 1980 shortly after its March publication. The boxed set includes a hex grid map scaled at ten kilometers per hex, six hundred game counters, a twenty five page rulebook and deployment charts, and offers three scenarios, a hypothetical earlier German offensive, the historical July 1943 battle and the Soviet counteroffensive beginning August 1 1943.
