Indian Ocean Adventure: The Japanese Raids on Ceylon is a two-player board wargame published by Game Designers' Workshop in 1978, simulating the historical Indian Ocean raid carried out by a Japanese aircraft carrier fleet during the Second World War. One player commands the Imperial Japanese Navy forces under Admiral Chuichi Nagumo while the other directs the British Eastern Fleet under Admiral James Somerville, recreating the carrier operations and fleet maneuvering around Ceylon in early 1942. The game renders a lesser-known theater of the Pacific War, the threat Japanese carrier air power posed to British naval forces in the Indian Ocean, into a tactical naval simulation for two commanders.
