Hi Ho! Cherry-O is a children's put-and-take board game for two to four players, now published by Hasbro. Each player starts with an empty basket and ten cherries on a toy tree, and players take turns spinning a spinner that tells them to pick one to four cherries or sends cherries back to the tree through a dog, a bird or a spilled basket. The first player to clear the tree and call out the game's name wins. The design began as a game called Let's Pick Cherries, created by Wisconsin schoolteacher Lorraine Landfried and sold to Whitman Publishing in 1959; Hermann Wernhard and the artist Katrin Lindley adapted it into Hi Ho! Cherry-O, which Whitman produced in 1960. A 2007 update added a cooperative variant, and a classic edition followed in 2015. Its pure-chance spinner makes it a simple counting game for very young players.
