Hex Hex

Party and Word Games

Hex Hex is a fantasy-themed card game designed by Curt Covert and first published by Smirk & Dagger Games in 2003. Players hold hands of cards representing hexes, curses and counterspells, and each turn they play cards to send point-stealing hexes at their opponents while trying to counter, deflect or absorb the hexes sent at them. The player who accumulates the most points by the end of the game wins. Hex Hex is designed for three to six players, plays in about thirty minutes, and is aimed at players aged twelve and older. Its blend of light fantasy theming with a card-based push-your-luck and take-that structure places it among Smirk & Dagger's line of humorous, confrontational party-style card games rather than deep strategy titles.
