Helltank Destroyer is a two-player science fiction board wargame published by Metagaming Concepts in 1982 as part of its MicroGame line. It is a sequel to the 1981 title Helltank, which was itself based on the mechanics of Metagaming's earlier hit Ogre, and it depicts combat between heavily armored supertanks and other futuristic weapons systems on a hex-grid battlefield. The game continues Metagaming's line of small-box tactical armor combat games built around simple, fast-playing rules for maneuvering and destroying powerful vehicle units, giving players a compact follow-up to the original Helltank's core conflict between colossal armored fighting machines.
