Grave Robbers From Outer Space is a collectible card game originally designed by Stephen Tassie in 2001, later released as an open-source design and currently published by Steve Caruso under the stewardship of The Academy of Resurrected Games and Holdings. Two to six players take on the roles of competing low-budget filmmakers, assembling movies from Character, Prop, Location and Special Effects cards while fending off rampaging Creature cards, with the highest-rated finished picture winning the game. The design parodies B-movie conventions throughout, earned an Origins Award nomination, and was published for a period by Z-Man Games as a dedicated-deck card game before returning to its collectible format under ARGH stewardship.
