Girl Talk is a board game invented by Catherine Rondeau in 1988 that became popular with teenage girls through the 1990s. It resembles the parlour game Truth or Dare and takes its themes from boys, talking on the phone, dancing, parties and sleepovers. A spinner lands on either a question or a dare, each worth a number of points, and a player who declines to answer or perform must wear a zit sticker for the rest of the game. Players spend points on four kinds of fortune cards, and the first to collect one of each kind wins. Later editions include Secret Diary, Date Line and a CD-ROM version, and a video game adaptation developed by Human Code and published by Hasbro Interactive was released in 1998.
