Mutants & Masterminds

Modern Hobby Strategy Games

Mutants & Masterminds, often abbreviated M&M, is a superhero role-playing game written by Steve Kenson and first published in 2002 by Green Ronin Publishing. It runs on a variant of the d20 System originally created by Wizards of the Coast, adapted to let players build both heroic protagonists and villains from a flexible menu of powers rather than fixed character classes. The game's point-buy design lets a group model nearly any comic book archetype, from street-level vigilantes to cosmic-scale beings, while keeping the underlying d20 mechanics familiar to players coming from other role-playing games. Mutants & Masterminds has gone through several editions and sourcebooks expanding its power system and sample settings.
