Crossfire (board game)

Dexterity and Physical Skill Games

Crossfire is a board game created by the Ideal Toy Company and first released in 1971. Two players face off across a plastic arena studded with obstacles, each firing spring-loaded pucks from handheld launchers with the aim of pushing a central steel ball into the opponent's goal slot before the reverse happens to their own. Its fast, dexterity-driven play made it a popular family game through the 1970s, and it has been reissued several times since, including editions from Milton Bradley in the late 1980s and early 1990s and from Hasbro beginning in 2016, each keeping the same head-to-head shooting-gallery format that defined the original.
