Full Thrust is a tabletop miniatures wargame of science fiction starship combat designed by Jon Tuffley and published by the English company Ground Zero Games, with a first edition released in 1991 and a revised second edition in 1992. Players command small fleets of spacecraft, using six-sided dice to resolve weapons fire across missile, fighter and direct-fire combat phases, while ship movement is plotted secretly in advance and then executed simultaneously or in sequence each turn. Though the rules include an optional default setting, a military space opera positioned around the year 2188, the system was deliberately written to be setting-neutral, and the rulebook explicitly encourages players to represent the conflict with any miniatures they like rather than an official product line. This open approach helped Full Thrust become one of the most widely played tabletop systems for depicting starship battles, with victory determined by mission objectives and the forces a side has left standing.
