Flames of War, abbreviated FoW, is a World War II tabletop miniatures wargame produced by the New Zealand company Battlefront Miniatures Ltd, which published its first ruleset in 2002. Players field opposing armies of 15mm scale miniature tanks, infantry and artillery to refight company-level battles drawn from the European, Pacific and North African theatres of the war, with two to four participants typically taking part in a game. The system emphasizes tactical decisions over complicated rules, and has gone through four major editions, the most recent arriving in 2017, supported by a wide range of historically themed miniature and scenario releases.
