Fields of Fire (game)

Wargame

Fields of Fire is a solitaire tactical wargame originally published by GMT Games in 2008 that is designed to simulate various historical campaigns of wars fought between World War II and the present day. The game uses card based mechanics, with terrain and action decks used to construct maps for individual missions that are worked through with turn based strategic actions; a typical mission takes three to five hours to complete. Designed by Ben Hull, the game earned Games Magazine's Best New Historical Simulation Game award in 2010, and has since seen a second edition and additional volumes and expansions.
