Feed the Kraken

Board game

Feed the Kraken is a hidden role deduction board game published by Funtails in which five to eleven players, recommended for ages twelve and up, command vessels racing toward secret objectives across a shared sea board. Games typically run forty five to ninety minutes and split participants among three asymmetric factions, Sailors, Pirates and a Cult devoted to the titular sea monster, each with its own hidden win condition and preferred destination for its ships. Because player allegiance is concealed at the start, much of the game centers on reading other players' movements and voting behavior to work out who belongs to which faction before committing to alliances or sabotage. The mixture of hidden roles with nautical movement and a monstrous shared threat distinguishes it from more conventional social deduction party games.
